I am the Head of Female Engagement at New Zealand Cricket. Previously, I have worked for Otago Cricket as the Women and Girls Lead as well as having a cricket playing background. I have seen first-hand the barriers to female participation and am passionate about removing these to ensure sport is inclusive and accessible for females of all ages. I have created and implemented initiatives such as ‘Girls Smash’ and ‘Fern Fever’ to provide girls an opportunity to participate in cricket in a fun and social manner.
In 2020, I received a Master of Sport Management and Development from the University of Otago. I am also a qualified Coach Developer and have worked for Otago Hockey providing support to community staff and coaches. I hope to utilise my passion and experiences to create new and innovative opportunities for women and girls to engage in all aspects of sport.
