LockerRoom is a news site focused solely on women in sport in New Zealand. It's part of Newsroom, an award-winning independent news website. Both were created to fill a gap in the media landscape.

LockerRoom is not only home to profiles, feature stories, opinion columns and news on women in sport, but it is also a platform for more women's voices. Mentoring more new female sportswriters is one of LockerRoom's main goals.
LockerRoom also has important partnerships with SkySport and Women in Sport Aotearoa.
